Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well and I can’t believe we’re halfway through 2019 already!! Well I must admit I’ve been off track with blogging and no excuse really except that time flies and I was focusing on my Digital Nomad Lifestyle Coaching Programs and Metaphysics work last year…and yes I know blogging is part of that!! So let me bring you up to speed on where I am and what I’m doing!! After I left Pai in northern Thailand after a great 10 months I decided to spend 3 months on Koh Samui island in the south. I always love to share how and why I decide when and where to move to…life as a Digital Nomad can be unpredictable!!

Well you might know I’m very spiritually connected due to my Metaphysics work and I’m very aware that situations and experiences happen that may upset us but I’ve learnt over the years that this is to maybe bring us on to a different path….so we need to trust it!!

Beautiful island of Koh Samui 🙂

Let me give you an example, so I was working with clients in Pai and there was some difficult situations but I decided to ignore it as that’s the best way to handle it in the Thai culture….things are not really talked about. These situations kept happening so finally I thought it was a sign and trusted my intuition that I needed to take some action!!

While I was on a visa run to Malaysia  I spent a few days on Koh Samui island and met a guy running retreats so the timing was perfect and such amazing synchronicity!! So it was time to leave the north and head to the south…not straight away…I’m spontaneous but not that bad!!  I was very excited so ready to start my island life as a Digital Nomad.

My home for 3 months in Fisherman’s Village on the island 🙂

Well things didn’t work out as planned and yes I was disappointed but again trusted my journey that it wasn’t meant to be. I always believe that if you try too hard to knock on a door that doesn’t open maybe you miss another door waiting for you!! I had arranged a place to live in advance but luckily didn’t pay anything but when I arrived on the island she’d given it to someone else!! Well guess what I found a great place to live in the lively Fisherman’s Village so once again everything worked out perfectly!!

I decided to enjoy island life regardless and made some great friends and even did a 6 week salsa course which was great fun and a good workout on a Thursday night!! I also learnt about a stress relieving technique called TRE (Trauma Release Exercises) so it was nice to meet great people and have some new experiences.

Girls night out!! Great friends!!

So Welsh Nomad enjoyed the time on Koh Samui despite it being the monsoon season so check in for my next post to see how the next part of my journey unfolded!! The great thing is I’m location free and can work from anywhere!!

Until next time,

Mei xx
