Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage works on areas affected by mental and emotional stress. In Western culture today we spend much of our time in our heads, so this treatment can really help to calm the mind and is surprisingly deeply relaxing. The treatment involves working with a firm and gentle rhythm it helps to relieve muscular discomfort and tension as well as calming the spirit and aiding relaxation, it also improves circulation in the head, enhances the senses and promotes clear thinking.

What happens during a session?
You sit in a chair and remain fully clothed. The massage usually begins with the upper back, where a combination of deep massage and pressure points help to relax the muscles and to loosen and melt knots. I then move to the shoulders, upper arms and neck. Moving up to the scalp, techniques are used that stimulate, relax and revive the whole of the head, increasing circulation and promoting healthy hair. Finally the treatment may include a gentle face massage with techniques that help circulation, skin tone, and sinus and headache problems.

This therapy can be performed without oils with the client sitting and fully clothed, so it is ideally suited to the workplace or situations where it may not be appropriate to give a full-body hour long massage.

The practice of Reiki is based on the idea that energy or ‘life force’ flows through us and when this energy is low or its path is blocked we experience poor health or emotional problems. Reiki practitioners learn to attune themselves to other people and aim to channel energy through their clients to help rebalance them.

The majority of clients use Reiki to relax and feel more peaceful although others use it to help them get through specific traumas or difficult circumstances. Sessions usually last for an hour and you remain fully clothed while I place my hands lightly on or just above the body starting at the head and working down towards the feet.
Reiki is safe and non-invasive and can bring about a wonderful feeling of peace and calmness and clears mind to help focus better on different aspects of life.

You will remain fully clothed as I moved my hands down the body starting at the head working my way down to the feet. my hands lightly touch the body but if you prefer I can hold my hands just above and works just as effectively.

Raindrop Technique

Raindrop Technique is a powerful technique using Young Living essential oils. This technique involves applying therapeutic grade essential oils to the spine, neck and feet. The session lasts about an hour but the benefits may last up to a week.

The 3 holistic techniques combine to form Raindrop Technique are:

Aromatherapy – Raindrop Technique uses seven single essential oils, two blends and one essential oil massage blend.

Vitaflex – this is an ancient Tibetan methodology meaning ”vitality through the reflexes.” The theory is based on the fact that slight pressure applied to the body creates an electric charge that is therapeutic to the body.

Feather Stroking – This is similar to a massage form technique called effleurage. This technique was termed by the Native American Indians.

Raindrop Technique get its name as essential oils are dropped from about 6 inches above your spine simulating raindrops !! It feels like a rain drop gently striking your spine, and it’s very relaxing and comforting!! Amazing !!
